All my work is now Digital, except for earlier examples which I am beginning to scan to digital files. Everything (from capture to print & frame) I do myself, which with the sometimes haphazard results, helps to make it a more creative, satisfying and often frustrating medium.
I try to capture the immediacy in my shots; people’s relaxed moments, the light and shadow, and the colours and forms that I notice as I pass. This is what gives rise to the ‘haphazard’ and ‘frustration’ of what the eye perceives and the difference captured by the camera. Maybe the camera does lie occasionally.
Again, with Weddings I prefer a natural & unobtrusive approach of a more informal diary of events. This I feel, not only chronicles the day, but relays the atmosphere of the joy & lighthearted fun, as well as the moments of drama during those high points and emotion in the marriage service.
The photographs are for sale, except wedding and most of those of people where the privacy legislation would now require me to have a politically correct ‘release’ form.

I can also print your photographs, or produce fine art prints of your work singly or as an edition, on demand, A4 up to A1-23½x33, from £10
